Senior Design and Conservation Officer

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Senior Design and Conservation Officer for a Local Authority based in the Southwest area.
Please note, this is a Contract opportunity.

You will be:

• Providing Senior Level place making urban design and historic environment expertise to support the delivery of the council’s functions.
• Providing solutions-based advice on major development proposals.
• Providing advice on complex heritage matters.
• Contributing to relevant policy creation.
• Supervising junior officers and supporting the Team Manager.

Essentials:

• A Degree in Planning/ Designing or a related field.
• Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or eligibility for membership.
• Strong working knowledge of UK Planning Laws and Regulations.
• Relevant UK work experience.
• Experience of supporting decision makers.
