Principal Planning Officer

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Principal Planning Officer for a Local Authority based in the Southwest of England.
Please note, this is a Contract opportunity and only apply if you have the Right to Work in the UK and has relevant experience.

You will be:

• Co – ordinating and supervising planning applications and development proposals, ensuring they meet local and national planning policies, ensuring a coordinated approach to planning, development and regeneration.
• Dealing with complex planning applications.
• Assisting in the formulation and implementation of planning policies and strategies.
• Engaging with stakeholders.
• Evaluating the environmental impact.
• Preparing detailed reports.
• Assisting the Team Manager.

Essentials:

• A degree in Planning and Related Fields.
• Membership or accreditation from a recognised planning institution, such as the RTPI.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Several years of experience in a planning role.
