Job Description

Responsibilities 
  • To undertake Void property support duties under the direction of the Voids manager.
  • To handle and maintain confidential and commercially sensitive information professionally.
  • To upload void specifications in line with schedules of work.
  • To act as a liaison between the Voids and lettings team and repairs business team.
  • To input and process payments for authorisation in accordance with financial procedures and within the limits of authorising officers.
  • To provide direct support and advice in resolving issues and identify and recommend improvements that may require changes in procedures.
  • To work independently and on own initiative on assigned work-streams; assessing and resolving issues, in line with policies and procedures, escalating more complex issues where appropriate.



Requirements 
  • Experience of working with a range of databases, spreadsheet and information systems
  • Experience working with previous Councils/ Housing Associations
  • Experience  of co-ordinating projects and working at a range of levels within organisations and externally
  • General knowledge of the local authority or other public sector or voluntary organisations.
  • Experience as a Business Support Officer previously is preferred 


Contract 
  • Initial 3 month contract
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (hybrid working)
  • PAYE via Umbrella
