Building Surveyor - Diagnostics
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor - Diagnostics based in North London with a leading Local Authority.
Rate: £41.90 /hour – Umbrella
- 36 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (Overtime hours available)
- Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract
- PAYE via Umbrella (CIS if a UTR number can be provided)
Responsibility:
- The ability to diagnose building defects and recommend the associated remedial action.
- A surveying or construction related qualification (not essential).
- Organised and proactive - able to manage their own calendar and caseload.
– Social Housing surveying experience (not essential).
- Ability to produce specification of works using a schedule of rates.
- A good understanding of damp, mould, and condensation.
- Office based.
- Access to pool vehicles
Experience:
HND/C Building with demonstrable post qualification experience of BSc Building and 2 years post qualification experience: Or • Proven experience in Demonstrable Building surveying experience
• Proven supervisory experience
• Extensive experience working in a housing associaiton or council
