Role Purpose
- The role purpose is to carry out asset condition surveys on a full range of corporate buildings.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out a programme of site surveys in relation to condition, undertaking schedules of condition, dilapidations, measured surveys and defect analysis.
- Write reports and calculate remedial costs. Identify and manage the updating of information and drawings.
- Ideally have experience both in building fabric and engineering services and be able to confidently assess condition overall.
- Follow and work with quality assurance procedures across projects and services.
- Prepare and undertake specifications, drawings risk assessments and contract management for occasional small projects.
Requirements
- Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (Hold, working towards, or equivalent).
- Experience in building fabric and services stock condition surveying.
- Knowledge of the Building Regulations, Health & Safety and other relevant construction and building surveying related legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with all levels of internal and external parties.
- Ability to work independently with minimal support.
Contract
- Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
- PAYE via Umbrella
- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
