🔍 Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Officer to join a busy team in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in the local community by providing high-quality housing management services, supporting tenants, and ensuring tenancy conditions are upheld.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a comprehensive housing management service to tenants and leaseholders.
• Manage tenancy and estate issues, including anti-social behaviour, breaches of tenancy, and neighbour disputes.
• Carry out regular estate inspections and follow up on maintenance and cleanliness issues.
• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external agencies to resolve housing-related concerns.
• Support vulnerable residents and refer to support services where necessary.
• Manage a caseload of properties across the borough, ensuring tenants receive timely responses and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant housing legislation and local authority policies.

✅ Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Housing Officer or similar role in social housing.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy law, housing legislation, and best practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work both independently and collaboratively.
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to travel around East London (driving license desirable but not essential).
