Children Social Worker

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Children Social Worker to join a Local Authority in the Northeast Somerset area on a Locum basis.
Please do not apply for this role if you do not have a valid Right to Work in the UK, are not a Qualified Social Worker and not registered to Social Work England.

You will be:
Joining the Family Support Team; your role will be to:

• Manage a caseload of complex work, including court work and child protection.
• Ensuring children are safeguarded and any risks are escalated.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust where necessary.
• Ensure the council’s procedures are followed through and the highest level of service given to children and families.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the Service.

Essentials:

• Registered to Social Work England, with an ASYE completed and 3 years of Post Qualifying Experience.
• The ideal Candidate will have direct experience of working within a Children’s Social Services Team.
• Right to work in the UK.
