Children Social Worker

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Children Social Worker for a Local Authority based in Merseyside. Please note, this is a Locum Opportunity.
Please do not apply for this role if you are not a Qualified Social Worker and are not Registered to Social Work England.

You will be:
You will be joining the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children’s Team; your main responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking a caseload of Children who are under the care of the Local Authority who are seeking asylum.
• Completing Age Assessments and have an excellent working knowledge of immigration and housing legislation, as well as looked after children.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals within the service to provide the best outcome for children.

Essentials:

• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold a Social Work Degree and has completed an ASYE with 3 years of Post Qualifying Experience.
• Registered to Social Work England.
• Industry relevant Frontline Experience.
• Up to date with industry knowledge and legislation.
• Subject to a clear enhanced DBS check.
