Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to work within a dynamic environment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across commercial and industrial sites.
Job Details:

• Location: London
• Hours: Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required)
• Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain, install, and repair lighting, power distribution systems, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
• Conduct routine testing, inspection, and compliance checks in line with industry regulations.
• Work collaboratively with on-site teams, contractors, and management to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed and report any major defects or system improvements needed.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault-finding, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach with a willingness to support out-of-hours work if required.
