Waste Porter

Vox Consultants are recruiting a Waste Porter for a Facilities Management Company.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours a week.
6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm

You will be working 5 out of 7 days a week. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Safely transport waste and recycling to designated disposal areas.
• Operate on-site waste compaction equipment and check for contamination.
• Keep the refuse area clean and hygienic, meeting environmental and infection control standards.
• Regularly monitor waste equipment and promptly report any faults or issues.
• Work collaboratively as part of a responsive team to carry out both scheduled and ad-hoc waste collections.
• Provide support with portering duties when needed, such as transporting medical equipment or specimens.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in line with NHS policies on Health & Safety, Confidentiality, and Environmental Management.

• Familiarity with NHS waste management procedures and regulations.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Portering or Customer Services.
