A client of mine are looking for a Portfolio Surveyor to manage a sub-portfolio of assets, ensuring maximum value for customers and the council. Focus on adult social care and education.
Role Highlights:
- Strategic Leadership: Manage a diverse portfolio, leading asset disposal and property matters.
- Professional Growth: Collaborate with service leads, offering professional advice and innovative solutions.

- Modern Practices: Use new technologies, especially Google Suite, for agile working and enhanced customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Management: Set targets, monitor performance, and foster continual improvement.
- Property Transactions: Oversee property transactions, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Strategic Management: Direct services, ensure property management compliance, and achieve financial targets.
- Investment Planning: Develop plans to maximise property returns.
- Negotiation: Handle property negotiations and sensitive issues professionally.
- Project Management: Lead rationalisation projects with evidence-based decision-making.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- RICS Chartered Surveyor: Required.
- Local Government Experience: Experience in Adult Social Care and Education.
- Strategic Asset Management: Experience managing property portfolios.
- Property Legislation: Knowledge of property laws and strategic application.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Ensuring estate compliance.
