Job Description

Customer Service Advisor (Housing Repairs) - PART TIME 
Location: West London
Contract: 3 Months Ongoing
Hours: Part Time – Minimum 22.5 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:15pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid after training

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor (Housing Repairs) to join a local authority in West London on a 3-month ongoing contract.
You will be the first point of contact for residents contacting the council about housing services and repairs, providing a professional, helpful and customer-focused service across a range of channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers contacting the council regarding housing services and repairs.
  • Respond to customer enquiries at the first point of contact.
  • Handle enquiries via telephone, email, web, social media and post.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to residents.
  • Ensure customers receive a positive and consistent experience.
  • Meet agreed performance targets and contribute to high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Provide a reliable, responsive and customer-focused service.
  • Ensure enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Promote value for money and responsive housing services.
  • Act as a positive role model and maintain high standards of customer service.
Working Arrangements
  • Part-time position with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
  • Working hours will be agreed between 8:00am and 6:15pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Approximately 4 weeks of training will be office-based.
  • Following successful completion of training, the role will move to a hybrid working arrangement.
  • 3-month ongoing contract.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service or contact centre experience in HOUSING REPAIRS 
  • Experience dealing with customers by telephone and other communication channels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong telephone manner and ability to handle customer enquiries professionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
  • Experience within housing, repairs or a local authority environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT and administration skills.
