Principal Fire Safety Surveyor – West London
£450 per day (Umbrella)
Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
West London (some remote working may be available, subject to service needs)
We are recruiting a Principal Fire Safety Surveyor to lead on fire safety compliance within a large and complex organisation based in West London. This is a key role responsible for ensuring robust fire safety standards, effective risk management, and statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee fire safety management within a facilities management environment
• Carry out fire safety inspections and audits across buildings
• Identify, assess, and prioritise fire risks and hazards in complex settings
• Develop and implement effective compliance and monitoring systems
• Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation
• Deliver clear presentations and training to staff and stakeholders
• Provide expert advice and leadership on fire safety matters

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience leading fire safety within facilities management
• Must have experience working in a council or housing association to be considered. 
• Strong background in risk prioritisation and hazard profiling
• In-depth knowledge of Fire Safety and Health & Safety legislation
• Demonstrable leadership experience delivering compliance services
• Experience setting up and managing risk monitoring systems
• Confident communicator with experience delivering training and presentations
