We are currently working with a Local Authority seeking an experienced Class 3 Building Inspector to support their Building Control team on a contract basis.
This is a flexible opportunity offering mainly remote working, with occasional site visits if required. The client is open to both full-time and part-time availability and is offering a competitive, negotiable rate depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plan checks and site inspections in line with Building Regulations
• Assess compliance with current Building Control legislation and standards
• Provide professional advice to developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial developments
• Ensure projects meet required safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Class 3 Registered Building Inspector (RBI)
• Strong experience working within Building Control
• Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and compliance processes
• Experience working with Local Authorities or Approved Inspectors
• Ability to manage workload independently in a remote working environment
