Location: Chepstow & Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 3:30pm – 7:30pm
Pay Rate: £16.44 per hour (Umbrella)
DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS required

Job Overview - We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning & Hygiene Operative to work across the Chepstow and Caldicot School areas in Monmouthshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout school premises, ensuring that the buildings remain clean, safe and presentable for staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Washing and cleaning floors and walls.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming designated areas.
• Dusting surfaces, furniture and fixtures.
• Emptying litter bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards.
• Following relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage cleaning tasks effectively.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday to Friday.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday.
• 3:30pm – 7:30pm.
• 20 hours per week.
• 3-month contract.
