Location: Brentwood, Essex
Rate: £27.69 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 3-month ongoing contract
Working pattern: 2–3 days per week in the office

Role Overview We are recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of approximately 400 properties in Brentwood, Essex. This is a hands-on role covering core housing management functions, ideal for a proactive officer who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

• Managing a patch of around 400 properties
• Rent arrears management and recovery
• Carrying out estate inspections
• Completing tenancy audits and visits
• Managing tenancy issues including breaches and enforcement
• General tenancy management and resident support

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Housing Officer or similar
• Strong experience in arrears recovery and tenancy management
• Ability to manage a large patch effectively
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
