Job Description

Vox Consultants are currently recruiting for one of our global faciltiies management companies.
You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality maintenance and compliance services.
To carry out or oversee the repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric associated with the premises, administered by the PFI Estates department, in line with best practice, statutory compliance and service level agreements as detailed in the project’s FM Service Contract.

The post holder is required to have significant core experience and qualifications working on various types of Mechanical systems.
As well as being competent in Mechanical HVAC plant, Air conditioning system, chillers, and commercial boilers & Plumbing.

What you’ll do:
• Perform reactive and pro-active Mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations on heating, ventilation, chilled water, and BMS systems. It will be anticipated that some general building repair duties will also be required to be undertaken.
• Conduct fault-finding diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance.
• Work safely under mechanical permit systems and adhere to health & safety regulations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory inspections.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure fast and efficient responses to breakdowns.
• Participate in the on-call roster to provide essential support.
• Work with tools, access equipment, and occasionally drive company vehicles as required.

What you bring:
• Time Served Engineer with at least 5 Years' experience in Healthcare or Similiar Environment 
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing 
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and building energy management systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
